The
July meeting of the Fostoria Coin Club was called to order July 15th,
2024, at 7:30pm by President Brandeberry with the Pledge of
Allegiance. Twenty-one members were in attendance. No guests
were present at this meeting. The June minutes were read and
approved, as was the Treasurer’s report. Next meeting will be
held on Monday, August 19, at 7:30pm, at the Fostoria Learning
Center.

Vini
asked Bruce to watch for raffle prizes, and he asked club members if
we wanted to keep the same prizes as previous shows. The club was in
agreement to that point. Vini asked Bruce to provide an update by
September.
New
Business:

Three
new members were voted on, tho they were absent. The club returned a
unanimous approval for Zeke Brown, Andy Bakies, and Doug Beach.

The
club website is up to date.

Dave
spoke of a potential new recruit: a vendor/member (Dave Howard of
Howard's Coins)

Dave
has arranged to attend the Nusmatic Show to accept the club award.

August
30-31 is the Central Ohio Numismatic Association (CONA) Show in
Columbus. Gary will have raffle tickets at the August meeting.

Phil
C. asked about show ads being advertised on the website and facebook.
Ads/information was placed on both.

Lynn
spoke about the BG flea market advertising on facebook sites.
⦁

Books are still available at cost.
Gary
and Harry respectively motioned and seconded for adjournment of the
meeting.
