The August meeting of the Fostoria Coin Club was called to order on August 18th, 2025, at 7:30pm, by President Brandeberry, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. There were 26 members and 2 guests present.
It was announced that Rich McClellan had passed away.
The minutes and treasury reports were reviewed and approved as read.
OLD BUSINESS: None
NEW BUSINESS:
Roger Geyman has moved and is interested in selling his silver. Members can contact him.
Steve Mangett had coins stolen and provided a list of the items to watch for.
The club voted unanimously for Rodan Reiter to become the newest member.
The club is a member of ANA and gets $5 off for each member that joins. If you have an ANA membership, please provide Vini with your membership #.
Gary has raffle tickets for the Columbus Show.
Red Books are $12
Vic donated a display case for proof sets for the auction to benefit the club.
W Quarters and 2025 nickels were discussed.
SHOW BUSINESS:
Vini spoke about the 2026 show. Vic is helping to secure prizes.
Dave will take over as Show Chair next year.
Frank offered several tables for the show, plus has offered storage room.
Gary and Vic made a motion and second to adjourn.
Door prizes were won by Gabrielle, Gary, and Phil. An auction followed.
